Novice Starter Kits

Basically, you don't "need" a lot of kit to get you started.
Please note that these kits do not come with instructions, if you are starting out please opt for either the Step by Step book by sara Seymour or contacting a local trainer.

There are many layers to scentwork and I'd always advise getting expert help initially.

This kit, includes a handy tin to keep your stuff together. 2 x Slider Tins and 1 x Aluminium Pot 10ml for you to add your odour and hide it, (add holes to your tin, remember the more holes the more odour can escape) use the Magnets to start adding a bit of height to your searches. 10 x Snuffle Cones can be used to search smaller areas without leaving residue odour and are easy to poke into smaller gaps. These come in various colours and sizes. 2 x Scentdog Storage Jars can be used for storing your various odours, such as KONG pieces or gun oil infused cotton bud tips etc. Tweezers for handling your odour. Try not to cross contaminate odours for example, use different tweezers for each of your odours. Please note, no odour is included with the Basic Kit, so you can choose this separately or add your own should you wish.
