KONG Catnip

KONG Catnip is an irresistible scent widely used in scentwork.

Using KONG Catnip adds a new dimension to the search process. Dogs are trained to sniff out the faintest of scents in an area for small Catnip scented items, such as our Fleece Squirrels, and retrieve them to the handler.
This process is similar to that of a gun dog going on a shoot-and-gathering game. The challenge of locating a specific scent amidst a host of other smells provides a good test and an enriching exerise for your dog.

You can test your dog with hides infused with smaller amounts of catnip. Consider using aged hides or those that have been exposed for extended periods, such as days or weeks.

Simply scent your Fleece Squirrels, and you're all set.
