Mini Soaks
When adding odour, if you always rely on using q-tips we can inadvertidly teach our dog to only find odour when its on a q-tip and not other fabrics/materials resulting in the dog becoming unsure or worse not indicating.
Train using a variation of different materials to ensure your dog is competent with recognising the only thing they are looking for (the one thing that stays constant is the odour)
